International Visitors
Q : How do international visitors register themselves?
A. International Visitors can register online, which is complimentary. Registrations link is presently active. Registration can be done, by uploading mandatory documents. However, from 25th July, 2011 onwards online International Visitors will be closed, if you register at venue a fee of US$ 100 will be applicable.
Q : What are the documents required to be uplaoded for online International visitor’s registration?

Scanned copy of passport page with picture
Visiting Card of your firm with your Name
NRI Proof is requied only if you have an Indian Passport (Can uplaod * Residential proof/Green card/Driving license/work permit)
* The above files should be in jpg and gif format, file size should be less than 1 MB.
Q : What are the Exclusive facility for International Visitors & delegates ?
A. An Exclusive International Product Gallery is made for International Visitors & delegates to enable them to find their desired products, designs and locate potential Indian Suppliers. This Gallery will have lounging facility with complimentary F & B.
Q : What products will be on display at the Exclusive International Product Gallery?
A. Plain gold jewellery, Studded jewellery, Loose diamonds and colour Gemstones.
Q : What kinds of companies will be exhibiting at the Exclusive International Product Gallery?
A. Indian Manufactures from DTA, EOU, Seepz having substantial export turnover catering to the US, Middle East and European markets.
Q : How many companies will be exhibiting at the Exclusive International Product Gallery?
A. Total 35 companies will be exhibiting.
Q : Where is Exclusive International Product Gallery located at the Venue?
A. The gallery will be located at Hall 1.
Q : What are the entry/exit timings at the Exclusive International Product Gallery?
A. 4th - 7th August, 2011 - 10:00 am to 05:30 pm , 8th August, 2011 - 10:00 am to 05:00 pm.

Q : What are the National visitor registration fees for IIJS 2011?
A. For GJEPC Members for first person only*:
1 April to 31 May 2011 Rs. 750/-
1 June to 15 Jul 2011 Rs. 1650/-
16 Jul to 8 Aug 2011 Rs. 4000/-

For Non-Members:
1 April to 31 May 2011 Rs. 1100/-
1 June to 15 Jul 2011 Rs. 2200/-

Q : What is Combo Registration?
A. For GJEPC Members for first two person only*:

Q : What documents are required for National visitor’s registration?
A. For Members:
2 recent color passport size photographs
GJEPC membership certificate
Visiting Card with your name and designation on it
Valid photo ID

For Non-Members:
2 recent passport size photographs
Valid Sales Tax registration certificate or Tin
Visiting card of your firm with name and designation
Valid photo ID
Q : How can Student register itself for IIJS ?
A.
Recommendation letter from the Institute
Current year STUDENT Photo ID Card.(Only institutes from the Gem & Jewellery Industry will be allowed for the above)
2 Recent color passport size photographs
Q : When can Associates & Industry Professionals Entry in the Exhibitions?
A. Associates & Industry Professionals are allowed to entry the exhibition ONLY on Saturday, 6th Aug, 11 & Sunday, 7th Aug, 11.
Q : When can Students Entry in the Exhibitions & what are their?
A. Students are allowed entry to the exhibition ONLY on Saturday, 6th Aug, 11 & Sunday, 7th Aug, 11 from 1 pm onwards.
Q : What are the charges to visit only Machinery Section ?
A. Rs.700/- only to visit Machinery Section.
Q : Can we register at the venue?
A. Yes, you can register at Hall 7 by submitting mandatory documents & paying applicable fees.
Q : What discount on group booking?
A. No, There is no discount for group booking.
Q : Is my entry pass transferable?
A. No, Entry passes cannot be transferred.
Q : What are the show timings?
A. 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m ( 4th - 7th August, 2011 )

Q : Can we purchase jewellery by paying cash, during the show?
A. No, it’s a pure B2B show. You can only place the orders with the exhibitors.
Q : Do you have International Pavilions?
A. Yes, we have 5 international pavilions. They are Antwerp, Israel, Dubai, Thailand, Turkey.
Q : Who are the Exhibitors?
A. Our major Exhibitors are National and International jewellery & diamond manufacturer, machinery and allied products related to Gems and Jewellery.
Q : Where is the Exhibitors Information?
A. The Exhibitors information will be available through OBMP and Online Exhibitor Directory.
Q : Are you conducting Roadshows?
A. Yes, we are conducting International as well as National Roadshows.

Our interactive website tool, allows you to Search Exhibitors using and Online Interactive Floor Plan. Find the companies and their location that interest you most before the show so that you can add them to your agenda.

OBMP :-
The 'Online Business Matching Program' enables registered visitors to find and interact with exhibitors that match their business profile.

Auto Match:-
Get a list of matching exhibitors based on your profile. You can send enquiries, make appointments or get more information about the exhibitor.

Search Exhibitors:-
Use the advance search feature to find a particular exhibitor or search according to business or product category.

Q : How one would receive their Visitors badges ?
A. For National Visitors : Visitors Badges will be sent by courier one month prior to the show, or if they wish they can get it collected from the Council’s BKC office.

For International Visitors : International Visitor badges will not be couriered in advance. When you arrive at IIJS 2011, go to the Hall No. 7 and at International Pickup counter you can collect your Badge.
Q : Is parking facility available at the venue?
A. Parking facility is available nearby to the venue at S.R.P.F Ground.
Q : Is the accommodation easily available?
A. Yes, Council have tied up with few hotels nearby venue at unbeatable rates, advance booking is recommended. You can review the hotel properties and make your hotel reservation online.
Q : Do the hotels provide to & fro airport transportation?
A. Yes, airport transfers are included in the room rates at official hotels.
Q : How can an exhibitor/ visitors clarify their queries ?
A. Reply to the queries would be given, if it is posted through online Helpdesk.
Q : Does cafeteria provide Jain food?
A. Yes, Jain Food is available at the cafeteria.
Q : Is non veg food available?
A. No.
Q : Do we have Seminars this Year?
A. Yes, We will be conducting seminars.
Q : Is Prayer Room available during the show ?
A. Onsite prayer room is available at Hall No.1 Zone- 4.

Q : How do Press/ Media register themselves?
A. There is a Press/ Media registration form.
Q : Is parking facility available at the venue?
A. Parking facility is available nearby to the venue at S.R.P.F Ground.

Q : Can exhibitors do online booth application?
A. Yes
Q : What are the customs procedures for my goods bought for exhibiting ?
A. Goods can be bought under ATA carnet or TIB.
Q : How do I clear my goods from the customs?
A. This will be done by official freight forwarder appointed for the exhibition in co-ordination with MMTC and Customs.(Please note the whole exhibition area itself is a custom bonded area).
Q : What is the duty structure in India for importing or for selling jewellery?
A. Goods can be bought under ATA carnet or TIB.
Q : Is there an overnight storage / safe facility available at venue?

A. Goods can be bought under ATA carnet or TIB.
Q : How would Exhibitors apply for the exhibitors badges & other services?
A. Exhibitors Manual will be online form 1st June, 2011, hence all the services related to the exhibitors would be available in the Online Exhibitors Manual. Request for Exhibitors badges, Extra Furniture & accessories can be done online.
Q : Who are the Visitors?
A. Manufactures, Wholesellers, Retailers, Overseas Jewellery trade buyers, Students, Associates & Industry Professionals

International Product Gallery
Q : What is the display setup Timming for exhibitors at the Exclusive International Product Gallery?
A. The display setup timing is from 08:00 am to 9:45 am only. Collecting the valuable at the end of the day will be permitted between 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. * (Exhibitors will not have access to the Exclusive International Product Gallery during the show hours.)
Q : Is there an overnight storage / safe facility available for exhibitor at Exclusive International Product Gallery exhibitor ?
A. There will be a common safe available, the exhibitor will be provided with small jewellery boxes with locks, which also be sealed in fornt of the exhibitors before putting it in the safe.
