Q: How do international visitors register themselves?
A: International Visitors can register online, which complimentary. Registrations link is presently active. Registration can be done, by uploading mandatory documents. However, from 16th Aug onwards a fee of US $ 100 will be applicable.
 
Q: When will fees be applicable for International visitors?
A: From 11th Aug onwards a fee of US $ 100 will be applicable
 
Q: What are the domestic visitor registration fees?
A: For GJEPC Members for first person only*
  Ø 1st April to 31st May, 2010 Rs.702/-
  Ø 01st June to 15th July, 2010 Rs. 1655/
  Ø 16th July to 23 August, 2010 Rs. 3860/-

For Non-Members:
  Ø 1st April to 31st May, 2010 Rs.1105/-
  Ø 01st June to 15th July, 2010 Rs. 2210/-
  Ø 16th July to 23 August, 2010 Rs. 3860/-
 
Q: What documents are required for Domestic visitor's registration?
A: For Members:
  Ø 2 recent color passport size photographs
  Ø GJEPC membership certificate
  Ø Visiting Card with your name and designation on it
  Ø Valid photo ID

For Non-Members:
  Ø 2 recent passport size photographs
  Ø Valid Sales Tax registration certificate or Tin
  Ø Visiting card of your firm with name and designation
  Ø Valid photo ID
 
Q: Can we register at the venue?
A: Yes, you can register at the venue at Registration Counter paying applicable fees
 
Q: What discount on group booking?
A: No, There is No discount for group booking
 
Q: Is my entry pass transferable?
A: No
 
Q: What are the show timings?
A: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m (19th - 22nd August, 2010)
10.00 am to 5.00 pm (23rd August, 2010)
 
Q: Can we purchase jewellery by paying cash, during the show?
A: No, it's a pure B2B show. You can only place the orders with the exhibitors
 
Q: Do you have International Pavilions?
A: Yes, we have international pavilions from Antwerp, Israel, Dubai, Thailand, Turkey and Italy
 
Q: Who are the Exhibitors?
A: Our major Exhibitors are National and International jewellery, diamond manufacturer, machinery and allied products related to Gems and Jewellery.
 
Q: How do I get my Indian visa?
A: Each individual will have to obtain their visas from the Indian Embassy/Consulate from their respective countries. To get invitation/ recommendation letter from the Council, kindly fill in online visa application form
 
Q: How can Student register itself for IIJS?
A:
  Ø Recommendation letter from the Institute
  Ø Current year STUDENT Photo ID Card.(Only institutes from the Gem & Jewellery    Industry will be allowed for the above)
  Ø 2 Recent color passport size photographs
 
Q: What are timing for the Student Entry into the Exhibitions?
A: Students are allowed entry to the exhibition ONLY from 1 pm onwards on all days
 
Q: What are the charges to visit only Machinery Section?
A: Rs.665/- only to visit Machinery Section
 
Q: How one would receive their Visitors badges?
A: For Domestic Visitors : Visitors Badges will be sent by courier/post one month prior to the show, or if they wish they can get it collected from the Council's Exhibition Cell

For International Visitors : They can get it collected from the Registration Hall (Hall 7) on their arrival
 
Q: Where is the Exhibitors Information?
A: The Exhibitors information will be online as soon as we receive the same from the Exhibitors.
 
Q: Are you conducting Roadshows?
A: Yes, we are conducting International as well as Domestic Roadshows.
 
Q: How do Press/ Media register themselves?
A: There will be online Press/ Media registration form
 
Q: Is the accommodation easily available?
A: Yes, Organisers have tied up with few hotels nearby venue at unbeatable rates, but advance booking is recommended. Our official hotels' room reservations link is available with option of online reservation.
 
Q: Do the hotels provide to & fro airport transportation?
A: Yes, airport transfers are included in the room rates at official hotels.
 
Q: Who are the Visitors?
A: Manufactures, Whole sellers, Retailers, Overseas Jewellery trade buyers & Students
 
Q: What are the customs procedures for my goods bought for exhibiting?
A: Goods can be bought under ATA carnet or TIB
 
Q: How do I clear my goods from the customs?
A: This will be done by official freight forwarder appointed for the exhibition in co ordination with MMTC and Customs.(Please note the whole exhibition area itself is a custom bonded area)
 
Q: What is the duty structure in India for importing or for selling jewellery?
A:

Cut & Polished Diamonds 0%
Rough color gemstones 0%
Cut & Polished color gemstones 5%
Semi Precious stones 5%
Jewellery related Machinery (Basic) 10%
 
Q: Can exhibitors do online booth booking?
A: No.
 
Q: Is there an overnight storage / safe facility available at venue?
A: Safes can be provided to each exhibitor at extra cost
 
Q: How would Exhibitors apply for the exhibitors badges & other services?
A: Exhibitors Manual will be online form 1st July, 2010, hence all the services related to the exhibitors would be available in the Online Exhibitors Manual. Request for Exhibitors badges, Extra Furniture & accessories can be done online
 
Q: How can an exhibitor/ visitors clarify their queries?
A: Reply to the queries would be given, if it is posted through online Help desk.
 
Q: Where do they come from?
A: All over India and different parts of the world
 
Q: Does cafeteria provide Jain food?
A: Yes, Jain Food is available at the cafeteria
 
Q: Is non veg food available?
A: Yes
 
Q: Is parking facility available at the venue?
A: Not at the venue but nearby to the venue
 
Q: Do we have Seminars this Year?
A: Yes, We will be conducting seminars.
